How do I keep motivation when exercising?
Hi, I have just bought a Tae-Bo exercise DVD and its really good, but i just cant keep motivated and tend to give up 10 minutes into the workout. I was just wondering, do you have any techniques that keep you motivated during a workout?
i found this quote in one website and it is very motivating
“The whole idea of motivation is a trap. Forget motivation. Just do it. Exercise, lose weight, test your blood sugar, or whatever. Do it without motivation. And then, guess what? After you start doing the thing, that's when the motivation comes and makes it easy for you to keep on doing it.”
It is really good quote to get motivated by it
in three words JUST DO IT !!!
i think that you can't just workout watching a dvd. its a bad idea cause you may give up or do less time. i suggest you to join a gym and tell to a trainer to find you a workout program for your situation, or go to do this exercise with other people its more motivating this way, also listen to music.
you have 2 choices do it or don't, its your decision

Does anyone know of a good ballet instruction DVD?
I took ballet for 10 years in a small town that happened to have a instructor who had been well trained and actually performed on broadway, however she had to give up teaching to take care of her elderly parents, I have not taken dance in 8 years, so I'm very out of practice and may have forgotten some techniques. I want to reacquaint myself with ballet and hopefully take my skills further than they were before. Does anyone know of good DVDs that honestly teach dance-not just a dance inspired workout-but isn't just a beginners course?
