any one know where i could get a good pair of "ninja" shuko?

i need a good reliable pair of shuko some that are stong and made correctly (without going over 50 bucks) im worried about the nylong ones tho im going ot have 90lbs on my back (im strong enough i climbed a cliff face with 90lbs and used nothing but my hands) but ill be climbing a 40-50inch oak tree all the branches are toward the top how reliable are the nylon shuko if you could link me a page to a good reliable pair please do

40-50 inches... that is like 3.5 feet to 4.5 feet roughly

I do not have the time to do all the math right now but that makes no sense you are going to kill that poor tree

They are called Ninja hand claws or Shuko.

I think that if a cop wanted to arrest you for them, he could do so under PC 10200, section 7, which bans "brass knuckles"....

(7) As used in this section, "metal knuckles" means any device or instrument made wholly or partially of metal which is worn for purposes of offense or defense in or on the hand and which either protects the wearer's hand while striking a blow or increases the force of impact from the blow or injury to the individual receiving the blow. The metal contained in the device may help support the hand or fist, provide a shield to protect it, or consist of projections or studs which would contact the individual receiving a blow.

I think a DA could successfully argue that Shuko meet that definition.

Are "shuko" or ninja claws illegal in the state of colorado?

Legal for what? To own, probably. To use on someone, only in self defense, but be prepared to go to trial.

I am interested in learning some ninja techniques?

I am looking for just a basic idea on how to use shuko hand claws and ashiko foot spikes. i can't find in anywhere online. just a really good explanation would be fantastic, or telling me where i can find one on the internet.

Hi there

My only advice is that you seek out a shidoshi from the bujinkan, jinenkan or genbukan. Like all good instructors you will have to be vetted first before any of the things you ask will be shown to you. We do train with shuko but not real ones as they are far too dangerous even for practise. Check out eBay where you will be able to buy some plastic ones for around £20.00 and find a good shidoshi that is registered.

This is a real art but just like any other you need to find a good instructor.
