Kick Training Kicking
has any one any training tips to improve my roundhouse kick for kickboxing?
I have done kickboxing for the last few years and would like to get a higher stronger roundhouse has any one got any traing tips?
Step by Step to a Devastating Roundhouse Kick=
[Step 1] Practice SLOWLY until your FORM is as perfect as you can get it. Be aware of what position your standing leg is in, all the way up to how your shoulders are turned and what part of your foot connects with target. Your control and your balance is your leverage...and all the power in the world is worthless without leverage to back it up...
*** every style argues that THEIR technique is superior, so I won't go into specifics about technique, and you probably already know anyways ***
[Step 2] Perfect your AIM. All the power in the world is only worth half if it is not delivered to the precise place. Learn the weak points on the human body and practice on a padded-up sparring partner. Hit soft until your aim is perfect then lay into it until the padding doesn't help him anymore!
[Step 3] Hit different targets. NEVER KICK AIR UNLESS YOU ARE A DANCER! I like to practice on a swinging heavy bag. Your opponant will not hold still, why should your practice target?
**Bonus** step 4= I've found that I can connect the hardest kicks, if they are used as a COUNTER strike. I consider myself quick, but I'm yet to find an opponant who is too slow to block, dodge or check a "1st Strike" kick that telegraphs as much as a roundhouse. Using it as a counter is far more likely to connect and have it's full impact.

soccer instep kicking; self training off wall routines
what happens when your in a weight training class and someone wants to kick you out the group?
I'm in high school taking weight training with my boyfriend and my ex's boyfriend has his girlfriend in are group but her friend doesn't want me in the group but I'm the one who made the group what should I do I mean her friend wasn't in the group in the first place. Also she told my boyfriend that I don't do anything in weight training which is a lie because ever since she joined are group she only talks HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!
Get some spine in your body lady. Don let someone push around. You need to tell her to back off. In fact, you should tell her to she should leave the group because she is olding all of you back.
Just stand your ground. This is life lesson 101. If you dont do it today, then you will have a hard time in life.
