Apologies for a slow reply. You are definitely for real - you should seriously consider making an IAMA. The little I know about Krav Maga concerns difficult fighting situations - fighting with only one hand, on one foot, blindfolded, anything goes. Of course there is much more to it - a lot of potentially lethal hits - but that's about all I know. I am far behind you in terms of pure combat. I am, however, a certified self-defense instructor. I am a trainer, a coach, not a fighter. I followed self-defense classes, took physical and written exams (including teaching exams), I was an assistant for three years (in addition to six years in martial arts) and eventually obtained the title needed to teach self-defense. I chose self-defense for women for a few reasons (At the time, my ex had been a victim of violence and I saw how horrible it was), including money. I will not lie on this: self-defense for women pays more, there is more demand for it. I have excellent reviews if that make you feel better and some students I've been following for years :). However, in terms of combat experience and martial arts training, I will admit without a doubt there are many teachers with more experience. However, I think I am a better teacher in many points.
