How tight should compression shorts be?
Right now, I have a youth large of Under Armour brand compression shorts. They feel snug on the thighs, but slightly loose in the crotch area, so I feel as if they might not restrain my member if it got particularly excited. I had to come down from a youth extra large because they more loose than now.
I'm on an indoor drumline, so I won't be seen up close too often during competitions and performances, but it's better to be safe...
Should I exchange for a medium?
Ritalin, your compression shorts should be tighter. The fit in the crotch should hold your penis and testicles so that they do not move unless you are VERY active. I would suggest that you compare the size of a youth large and medium. If there is not too much difference, buy a youth small. You do not want your testicles to move at all and your penis should be kept in the place (position) you place it.

If you don’t recognize the differences between those specs you listed, you’re doing it wrong or just being a jerk. To be honest, it sounds like you are a lousy manager who thinks his developers just ‘want more’. I am guessing you have never tried to do a bug fix with 4 versions of visual studio open at once because policy dictates you cannot upgrade a project to the latest version of .NET, but you need all in debug to find the issue. Or a legacy project that has C++, Java, VB, and .NET that all needs to work together at the same time. Or on a project that spans multiple databases at once where you need to run multiple versions of MS SQL and and instance of Oracle for an app to run in development. *sigh* In any case I could go on and on on how your insight is misguided.
